I feel very fortunate, my first leadership role, way back in school was very challenging. It was a period of time when there were teacher boycotts and demonstrations on the streets, all to do with protesting the teachers wages. My teachers in the girls boarding school I attended refused to take part, which made us victims of attacks from hooligans who were paid to cause trouble. One day we woke up to find that almost everyone in our dormitory had been robbed of our stuff. I had to not only get through the trauma of feeling very insecure, losing my stuff but help others get through the difficult period. Some girls were unlucky and lost everything.
I learned at an early age that one thing we can count on is; that life will provide distractions, but how we react to setbacks is key. Energy follows thought. Whatever we focus on we create more of, with the life force that flows through all of us. I learned to focus on success instead.
I studied coaching, mentoring, marketing, mergers and acquisitions and subjects I was passionate about, ones I could learn and grow meaningful experiences and connections.
My intellectual and technological curiosity took off at a tender age of 5 when I cut my mother’s new leather sofa with a sharp razor to find out what was inside. I made lots of mistakes through experiments, which was met with lots of criticism but which opened my mind. I had an insatiable thirst for exploring new aspects of life learning and sharing knowledge.
My mentoring career started in England. Living in the UK taught me to appreciate the little things in life, like the sense of community and the picturesque infusion of character between the indigenous people and the visitors who came to search for a better life. Their stories have fed my passion for opulence, success and diversity.
This formed the backbone of my roles in marketing, investing, mentoring, speaking and coaching that I currently do. Leading fantastic teams of customer success specialists across the UK working towards client’s success realisation.
As an emotionally intelligent leader, I work with teams and business owners in ways that keep them engaged, valued and challenged. I am a critical thinker and enjoy providing simple solutions to complex business problems to ensure business success. My success in life has been due to surrounding myself with a team of partners and advisers who are well seasoned and very successful businessmen and women like Steve Hackney, Sam Ovens, Roland Frasier, Adam Lyons and Anna Bey among others
I am a positive entrepreneur, visionary, impact investor and speaker. I am passionate about programming our young people to succeeding. I enjoy teaching a money course for a charity called Christians Against Poverty, CAP, I play acoustic guitar, I am a part of a ladies netball team in our village and always up for a board game like monopoly or scrabble.

Carolyn Jones through the core asset mentoring helps businesses grow their leads, sales and profits through a strategy called the formula. The formula involves a proven, actionable advice anyone can apply to their business, quickly and easily even if they have little or no sales and marketing experience, to produce increased profits.
Carolyn Jones was born in Kenya and moved to the UK in 2002 and has been a life coach since 2012 has helping many people and businesses overcome limiting beliefs and habits to their goals. Some of the niches Carolyn has worked in includes marriage coaching, depression, life improvement, addiction breaking, healing and spiritual coaching; helping people connect with their higher self and get any answer to life’s challenges from within and now works with entrepreneurs.
Carolyn joined the organisation called The Core Asset Mentoring in 2020 and is now working along side other mentors and consultants like Steve Hackney, a former rugby player and the the creator of the formula, helping businesses bounce back and become profitable after the pandemic.
